Release stress with tree oils

I previously posted this in one of my facebook educational groups.

I liked it so much, I wanted to share here:

Scientific studies have shown that trees like pine, fir, cedar and cypress contain phytoncides such as alpha-pinene and beta-pinene (which make up the essential oils of many trees) and these were found to decrease levels of the cortisol stress hormone.

With that in mind, let me share what are my favorite 5 tree oils and why 🌲 🌳 🌲

🌲 Cypress: This oil is not only wonderful for releasing stored emotions, but it helps ease feelings of loss and creates a sense of security. I use in the diffuser because it has helped me to heal emotional trauma in the past. Currently it calms me emotionally, relieves anger and just helps life flow better.

🌲 Cedarwood: This oil’s powerful scent creates a relaxing, calming and comforting environment by stimulating the limbic region of the brain. It is my ā€œGo Toā€ each night for deep restful sleep 😓 I use sometimes in the diffuser with lavender and other times apply by itself neat to my wrists. I also use in my eyelash serum. If you want to do some light reading, google ā€œCedarwood and pineal glandā€ šŸ˜‰

🌲 Northern Lights Black Spruce: This oil is grounding yet uplifting at the same time. I use this in the diffuser at night to relax and unwind. There’s is something very comforting about NLBS and orange for me.

🌲 Sacred Frankincense: This oil promotes confidence and purpose as the feelings of negativity disappear and stimulates the body’s immune system. I use Sacred Frank when I’m studying and meditating to keep my mental focus and allow for a deeper connection.

🌲 Sacred Sandalwood: The deep ā€œwoodyā€ Sacred Sandalwood is intoxicating to me. I love the aroma and because of all it’s Oxygenated Sesquiterpenes, it will linger on the skin ALL day. I put a drop behind my ears when I feel I need a little extra clarity. I notice when I turn my head throughout the day, I get light whiffs which help me maintain my focus and vision.

So these are my Favorite 5! Are any of these in your list of faves?

Email me and I can help you purchase 😊

Is it morning again?

I am not a morning person.

My bed feels so warm and cozy in the morning and once my feet hit the floor, I am off and running.

I sometimes apply different blends to my wrists and neck to uplift my mood too. I need all the help I can get!

When I get in the car, I like to get my diffuser going with some bright yummy smelling oils to help wake me up on the way to work. I feel energized and ready to face the day.

I love it because just a few drops of oil in the diffuser is efficient AND cost effective! Plus I do not have to worry about breathing in harmful chemical smells.

Here are some suggestions for diffusing in the morning for energy:

  • Lemon + Peppermint
  • Stress Away (blend) + Lime
  • Citrus Fresh (blend) + Lavender
  • Motivation (blend)

*In the car, I use one drop of each oil/oil blend so that it is not overpowering

Here are some suggestions for what I put on my wrists  & neck:

  • En-R-Gee (blend)
  • Stress Away (blend)
  • Valor (blend)
  • Happy roller (citrus oil blended in a roller- recipe below)

HAPPY ROLLER BLEND

  1. In a 10ml bottle, add 4 drops Grapefruit EO, 3 drops Orange EO, 2 drops Bergamot, 2 drops Joy (blend), 1 drop lemon
  2. Fill with carrier oil (I prefer fraccionated coconut or grapeseed oil)
  3. Add top and gently shake to mix.
  4. Apply to skin as desired.

Can we just focus…

Focus.

It can be easier said than done.

Sometimes my brain is so full, I feel like I am running in circles. It can be difficult to settle down and start working on my To Do List.

Thankfully, I have a lot of different essential oils to choose that can help me focus my mind and get things done.

Oils I use to help focus

  • Lavender
  • Frankincense
  • Rosemary
  • Vetiver
  • Clarity (a blend)
  • GeneYus (a blend)

Do you use essential oils to help focus? If so, what is your favorite?

The Feelings Collection #bigemotions

The Feelings Collection

The Feelingsā„¢ collection features six essential oil blends that inspire feelings of emotional well-being when diffused. Use in the morning and evening to promote peaceful thoughts and spiritual harmony.

Harmonyā„¢, 5 ml
Forgivenessā„¢, 5 ml
Inner Childā„¢, 5 ml
Present Timeā„¢, 5 ml
Releaseā„¢, 5ml
Valor IIā„¢, 5 ml

-VALOR has been used to help empower the physical and spiritual bodies, bring courage, confidence and self-esteem and has also been nicknamed a chiropractor in a bottle.

-HARMONY is used to establish spiritual and emotional harmony within us as well as bringing a harmonic balance to the chakras of the body, allowing us to feel safe and secure.

-FORGIVENESS may help people move past barriers in life by bringing them to a higher spiritual awareness of their needs. Using this oil can lead one to forgive, forget, let go, and go on with their lives.

-INNER CHILD may stimulate memory response and help one reconnect with their inner-self leading to emotional balance. When a child experiences trauma or abuse, they disconnect with their inner child and this can contribute to a manifestation of issues that are often labeled as a mid-life crisis.

-RELEASE can enhance the release of memory trauma from the cells of the liver, where anger and hate emotions are stored. It also helps to release frustration.

-PRESENT TIME was specifically blended to help bring people into the moment. We must live in the moment in order to heal. We cannot live yesterday, we cannot live tomorrow, we must live today.

The oils in this kit are blends containing several incredibly wonderful and powerful oils like Angelica, Rose, Sandalwood, Hyssop, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, and Frankincense along with many more.

This kit isn’t just for people with crazy pasts who desperately need emotional support, this is for people who feel mundane, or are ready to make a change, or want to be more emotionally healthy!

The great thing about blends is that they are ready to diffuse! I put 2-3 drops of Forgiveness or Harmony in the diffuser if the hubs and I have had a disagreement. It helps me to let go of the negativity that was causing the feelings of discontentment.

Oatmeal-lavender bath ball

Saturday Night Shenanigans!!!

My cuz and I were painting šŸ–¼ and she was talking about a skin issue her son has. I decided to make her a oatmeal-lavender bath ball šŸ› Both oatmeal and lavender are naturally soothing for skin. Apricot oil is a natural moisturizer and has helped me with my eczema.

In the midst of making it, I thought to take a few pictures to share with you all.

I didn’t measure anything. I mixed about 1/4 cup apricot oil with 15 drops @youngliving lavender essential oil. Then poured that into about 2 cups of @quaker old fashion oats. Mixed until all oats are coated.

Spooned half of mixture into a pantyhose (you can use cheesecloth or something permeable like a giant tea bag).

Secure end so that the oats don’t leak out. Easy peasy 😁 Now when lil man gets his next bath, he will soak and have some relief!
